Establishment Day

19th November ! A red lettered day in the history of the congregation of the Apostolic Carmel – as it is the Establishment Day – the day on which the Apostolic Carmel was established here on in Mangalore.

Establishment Day was celebrated in Carmel School on 19th Nov 2014 by the Carmel Blossoms. This day is also known as the Carmel Blossoms Day.

The day began with the celebration of the holy Eucharist offered by Fr. Maxim Rosario. And during the sacrifice of the holy mass the new members for Carmel Blossoms were initiated. They were 15 in number. The superior and Joint Secretary Sr. Shalini A.C was present for Mass. The liturgy was conducted by the Carmel Blossoms and they were given the Badges by the superior.

Later at 10.00 am we had the celebration in the Auditorium. The programme was put up by Carmel Blossoms. The M.C for the program was Miss Deepthi and the programme began with a prayer service and followed by the Welcome Dance. Later, the Carmel Blossoms in group they gave short significance of the day through symposium. They acted out the heroic virtue of Mother Veronica Our Foundress. The message of courage was given through the form of a skit.

Finally a beautiful dance on flowers comparing the children to flowers they bloom and spread the fragrance of love, cheer, laughter and innocence everywhere.

Thus the Establishment Day was kept up in a grand manner. All had a nice time.
