Rashtriya Ekta Diwas

Rashtriya Ekta Diwas is also very commonly called the National Unity Day . The day was introduced in 2014 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. In our school it was celebrated on 31st of October 2018 by the students of class IVA and B with great enthusiasTo mark this occasion, the day was inaugurated by Sr. Sarika, the Principal, Sr. Lenita the Vice Principal, Sr.Venitha the co-ordinator and teacher Alice who honoured the great legend Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel by garlanding his portrait .

To give the first fruit of the day to the Lord, prayer service was conducted by the students of class IVA. To safe guard our country from all harm and danger intentions were placed before the Lord Almighty.

Thereafter the students of class IVB welcomed the gathering through a Ekta song. The students were dressed up in a colourful costumes representing the different states of our country.

An edifying information about Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was presented through a Power Point presentation followed by a ‘Dance on Unity’ and a skit.

To pay tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel a dance was performed. A meaningful message was given by the Principal in her address to the audience on the occasion Rashtriya Ekta Diwas. At the end, The Principal along with students and teachers pledged themselves in the spirit of unification of our country.The event concluded by singing the National Anthem.
