Republic day is the commemoration of the day when the Indian Constitution came into effect. We celebrated the 70th Republic day on 26th January 2019 at 9.00 A.M. in our school ground. The programme was presided by the chief guest Sr. Carmelita A.C., the Provincial Superior of Karnataka Province. The principals of our campus Institutions were present for the programme.

The programme began with the flag hoisting by the chief guest, followed by a prayer song and a Patriotic song sung by the students of Carmel School . Chandrima Monterio, the student of Class IXA briefed the audience with significance of the day. The gathering was welcomed by Sara Eanne Lobo the student of class VIIIA Medini S.Rao, a student of class IX B compered the programme and Ansaba proposed the vote of thanks.

The cultural programme was put up by the students of class 5. The students placed their intensions before God invoking blessings on our country and the prayer service continued with the reading of holy scriptures.Emphasizing on the Republic day students presented a skit , song and patriotic dance. The framing of the Indian constitution was beautifully displayed with a video clipping.

The programme ended with an inspiring message by the chief guest , sister Sarika A.C., the principal of our school. The programme was appreciated by the Principal.
