Women’s Day celebration began with a beautiful and thoughtful prayer service by the students of English club. The entire programme of the day was compered by Nichelle of class VII B. The prayer service highlighted the importance of women, the role of women and her greatness in every sphere of our life. The gathering was extended a gracious welcome, with a graceful welcome dance by the students of class VI.

A skit on the life of ‘Jhansi Ki Rani Lakshmi Bai’ , was enacted which conveyed an inspiring message to the women of this generation to be women of courage, compassion and care at the same time not forgetting to be a self reliant and an independent woman.

Perpetua Fransika of class VI C highlighted the significance of the day. She described the plight of women at present through an elaborated speech. An inspiring song ‘ The power starts with you’ was sung to appreciate and boost the self confidence of women present in the audience. The students performed a dance to the track ‘Tu Chale’ which depicted the unique qualities of women on the whole.


Sr.Sarika A.C our principal addressed the gathering on the occasion and appreciated women and their role in all walks of life. Vote of thanks was expressed by Ashel of class VI A. The programme was concluded by singing the National Anthem.

The male staff with the guidance of the Principal conducted various games to mark this day. The teachers actively participated in the games and were delighted by this surprise given to them.
