All the Kannada speaking regions of South India were merged to form the State of Karnataka on Nov 1st 1956.

The faculty of Carmel School organized a colourful programme, got it recorded and sent it to all the students. It was a unique experience of celebrating Rajyotsava day without the presence of the students.

Mrs Deepthi K.G and the team lead the prayer service invoking God’s Blessings on the people and the leaders of Karnataka. The significance of the day was given by Mrs Asha Gowri who also paid tribute to all those who laboured for the growth and development of Kannada language.

A short skit was enacted to uphold the cultural heritage, ethos, and respect for everyone and to their language. Emphasis was given to promote and preserve Kannada, the language of our state.

Sister Sarika A.C, the Principal in her message gave a clarion call to the people of Karnataka to be proud of our language and paid respect to all who strove to give a upward push for the growth and progress of this language. Sister Rose Agnes A.C, the administrator was present for the prorgamme.
