Our mind must make peace with our heart before we can witness peace in the world. We in our school imbibe great values in our children, so that they grow to be responsible. Keeping this in mind Peace Day/Martyrs Day was celebrated in our school on January 30th 2023.

The students of grade 2 hosted the program. The event commenced with a short prayer service.

The students warmly welcomed the gathering with a welcome dance and briefed upon the significance of the day.

A short but informative skit about ‘soldiers sacrifice’ was the highlight of the programme.

It conveyed the message of sacrifice and humanity which is the guiding light for generations to come.

The Colorful dances of grade 2 fascinated the audience. In every art performed, the true essence of peace and harmony was highlighted.

Sister Shanthi Laveena in her message cited that, “Peace begins with a smile”. She highlighted the life of Mahatma Gandhi, She also encouraged the students by asking questions about peace day and applauded the efforts of the students and urged the students to become good citizens and imbibe Gandhian values in their lives.

Aathmika G welcomed the gathering, while Dhanvi D Bolar and Alia Fathima proposed the vote of thanks. Fathima Sazfa and Shaan Joshua compeered the programme.
