“JUMP, BUMP AND SMASH”AICS INTER SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT

Carmel School, Mangaluru hosted the Inter School Volleyball Tournament on November 13, 2019 at school grounds. The inaugural ceremony began at 9.00 am with a ceremonial march past. The ceremony was presided by Sister Maria Shubha A.C., Secretary, The Apostolic Carmel Educational Society, Mr Pradeep Dsouza, Deputy Director, D K District, Dept. of Youth Empowerment and Sports as the chief guest and Mr Raymond Patrao, Propreitor, Patrao Steel Centre as the guest of honour. The programme was compered by Mrs Cynthia Renjal, Sister Sarika , the Principal welcomed the gathering and Miss Akshatha proposed the vote of thanks .

21 schools from Dakshina Kannada participated in the tournament.The closing ceremony was presided over by Sister Maria Kripa A.C., Joint Secretary, Carmel School; Mr Vincent Carlo , International Bodybuilder and power lifter as the Chief guest along with Mr Claver Dsouza , Proprietor , Prince Shamiyana, Kulur and Mr Abdul Latheef , Ex Corporator, Bunder ward, Mangaluru as the guests of honour. The Closing Ceremony was compered by Mrs Liffin Saldanha , Sister Rose Agnes A.C., the Administrator welcomed the gathering and Mrs Arpitha propsed the vote of thanks.

Around 600 students participated in the tournament .The entire event was meticulously planned and well organised under the leadership of Sr Sarika the Principal, Carmel School Mangaluru, along with the support of the Management, parents, friends, officials, staff and students it was a wonderful success.
