To commemorate vanamahotsava , preserve greenery and forest, Green Day was celebrated by the tiny tots of LKG and UKG on Thursday, 20th July ,2023 at our school. All the students were dressed up in different shades of green and also brought along with them Vegetables like cucumber and cabbage to share with their needy friends on the campus.

A short programme was organised by the students of UKG beginning with a prayer followed by a prayer song, significance of the color 'Green,' a planting song and a kannada action song. The programme was compered by the little ones and the Principal, Sister Lilly Pushpa in her message thanked the children and the parents for their generosity and love and stressed on the importance of eating veggies for a healthy body and mind. She also expressed her to the teachers for their hard work and for training the children. The Administrator, Sister Doctor Prem Dsouza thanked the children for sharing and went on to add that they all looked beautiful and pretty like tiny stars. Few parents also extended their support by attending the programme.

Various activities were conducted in the classroom to highlight the colour green and to learn about various objects. Overall it was a fun-filled and an enriching experience for the little ones of LKG and UKG as they indulged in different activities and learnt to share what they brought with the needy friends and their families.
