The Tricolour Week was observed at school from the 9th of August. There were various activities and competitions conducted for the children. The kindergarten children were brimming with enthusiasm and eagerness to showcase their talent.

Children have fun and funky sensation squashing and trampling the clay. The clay modelling competition was conducted on the 10th of August. The children participated with a lot of gaiety and enthusiasm.

Music is beneficial for children as it not only develops their aesthetic sense but is also the key to creativity. A patriotic singing competition was organized on the 11th of August. This was an opportunity to teach them the importance of Independence Day.

The tricolour sandwich-making competition was held on the 14th of August in their respective classes. The kindergarten children brought different food items from their homes. By using different items such as cucumber, onion, cheese slice, carrot, bread etc. Children participated enthusiastically and enjoyed the activity a lot, as it referred to our flag. The objective of this activity was to make them understand the ingredient, the process to make sandwiches and learn about the different colours of our national flag.

On the day of independence, a drill was performed on patriotic song by the LKG children.
