Cyber Safe Campus

Carmel School organized an informative session on “Cyber Safe Campus” for teachers on 19th September 2019 in the school auditorium. It commenced with a prayer service followed by the input session.

Dr. Ananth Prabu G., Professor at Sahyadri College of Engineering, Mangaluru, enlightened the faculty with the latest information on cyber crimes, hacking, artificial intelligence, Internet fraud, Recharge fraud, ATM skimming/schimming, job fraud, message spoofing, call spoofing, picture morphing key logger malwares, fake matrimonial profiles, cyber laws in India and the safest methods to be followed in using google apps and internet. These were effectively explained through apt examples. He also distributed books on cyber safe girl. The input session was interesting and knowledgeable. It was attended by 79 teachers and Principals from St. Ann’s campus Instititions and Carmel school Moodbidri.

Ms. Akshatha D. compered the programme, Sister Gracy A.C., the Vice Principal welocmed the gathering and introduced the speaker. Mrs. Arpitha proposed the vote of thanks.

Mr. Azfan Razak, President of “We are united” introduced an awareness programme on “E- Swatchh Bharath”.
